The Block DockTM soap dish is made from aluminium and is powder-coated in hardwearing, long-lasting paint. It is designed to drain quickly so bars dry faster and last longer. You will never suffer soggy soap again!
This Block DockTM is WIDE size and weighs just 30 grams. It is 8.45cm wide, 5.6cm tall and 4.35cm deep. It fits bars up to 3.8cm in depth – the shortest side of your bar.
Bars balance best when placed at the front of the Block DockTM when they are new. As your bar changes its size and shape with use, let it lean to the back - keeping its bottom to the front of the Dock.
A suction cup comes with each Block DockTM soap dish to enable wall mounting. It WILL adhere to glass, acrylic, vitreous china, steel, most smooth tiles, and mirror. It will NOT adhere to textured tiles, paint and other porous surfaces because the suction cup cannot form the vacuum it needs to work. If this case, it is best to suction to nearby glass. Or you can try Command wet/dry strips or nanotape depending on your situation. Additional screw holes in the back of the Block DockTM make it possible for you to thread a cable tie or wire through for tying onto a fixture.
Using Block DockTM soap dishes comes with the bonus of less time spent on bathroom cleaning! Just give it a wipe with your finger from time to time when you shower. Better to keep it out of the dishwasher and take care not to scratch or permeate the surface. It’s a good idea to give it a complete dry with your towel every week or so. If you have a shower dome or similar, you’ll want to give your bars a break in the fresh air if they become soft to touch.
