Kiwi are a significant National icon and a symbol of the uniqueness of New Zealand Wildlife. The bird itself is taonga (treasure) to Maori, who have strong cultural, spiritual and historic asscoation with kiwi.

When purchacing our Kahu Kiwi for every sale $5.00 goes to an organisation Kiwis for kiwi, who in partnership with the Department of Conservation, aim to bring together all New Zealanders to save our National Bird.
Their role is to provide funding and support for the many community-led and iwi, whanau and hupu-led groups dedicated to increasing kiwi numbers, protecting precious kiwi populations from predators and restoring the health of the natural environment.
